ADASHI Dispatch Features
|
ADASHI Dispatch provides a navigation, preplanning, map and geographic information solution for first responders.
Map, Tracking, and AVL/CAD Features:
- Street maps plus – Comes with the latest NAVTEQ street maps for all of North America which include information on hospitals, schools, stadiums, businesses, and other points of interest. NAVTEQ is the world’s leading provider of premium digital maps.
- Real-time vehicle tracking – Accepts data from a vehicle-mounted GPS and displays the vehicle location on its built-in street maps.
- AVL integration – GPS-equipped vehicles display and report their current location to the stand-alone ADASHI AVL system included with First Response or Command Post. Vehicles can also accept incident routing information directly from the AVL system. In addition, ADASHI can be customized to work with your existing AVL system. Note that only vehicles equipped with First Response or Command Post can display the current locations of all vehicles responding to an incident.
- CAD integration – Accepts incident dispatch, routing and unit status messages either automatically from your CAD system, or manually from you.
Local Data Integration Features:
- View Local Data – Displays local digital geographic information critical to your field operations such as the locations of utility lines and fire hydrants, or overhead imagery. If your information is in an ESRI-compatible format, ADASHI will use and display it.
- Search Local Data – Enables you to quickly search its geographic database (including local information you’ve added) for features of interest within a region, or nearest to a particular location. For example, you can search for schools, hospitals, or fire hydrants.
- Facility Preplanning Data – Finds and displays preplanning data associated with a particular facility, incident type, landmark, or other critical points of interest. Such data can include street address, type of construction, and emergency contacts along with documents (in any format) such as building plans, photographs and response plans.
- Real-Time Weather – Displays weather information from the nearest NOAA or AWS weather station when internet access is available.
Data Recording and Communications Features:
- Incident Action Logging – Automatically records and time-stamps all ADASHI operator actions for later review.
- Unit-to-Unit Communications – Sends/receives text messages to/from other ADASHI systems that share the same digital network.
- Incident Data Sharing – Receives and displays incident location information from other ADASHI systems that share the same digital network.
Routing Features:
- In-Vehicle Navigation – Provides a fully integrated stand-alone navigation solution including route generation, display, and turn-by-turn directions (text and voice). Can also accept routing information directly from your CAD and AVL systems.
